Welcome to 'An Acarsaid'

An Acarsaid has been a family home since 1960 and remains in the   MacInnes family since it became available for letting in 2010.

The house sleeps 7 people in four bedrooms, one with a connected bathroom. A second bathroom serves the other bedrooms. There is extensive lviing space, with a dining room, sunroom and large sitting room, all with views over the bay. Another entrance hall and sunroom overlooks the flower garden.

The well equipped kitchen  also has good views. There is a laundry room and lots of hall-space. All but two of the bedrooms are on the one floor

An Acarsaid is set in 4 acres of woodland garden, which until 2009 was open to the public under Scotland's Garden's Scheme.

An Acarsaid overlooks the safe, sandy bay of Ord with stunning views west to the Cuillin mountains. Swimming is safe and there is easy access to the water for kayaks and small boats.

Ord is the hamlet of around 20 houses on the west coast of the Sleat Peninsula of the Isle of Skye. It is on a single-track loop road 4 miles from off the A851, Broadford to Armadale road.
