PAPERWORK & BOOKING PROCEDURE
Please feel free to email us as many times as you need, if you want to ask questions about the property or the area. We know how important it is to select the right place to stay. We will promptly answer your questions, including providing tariff quotes and general information about our booking terms and conditions.
Here's what you can expect to receive from us, and what we need you to do please, in order to complete the paperwork for your reservation:
1) WHEN WE CONFIRM YOUR PROVISIONAL RESERVATION:
a) You will receive an email confirming your booking for Apartment 39 Lothian House, including details of payment options, etc. This will include a list of questions which we would like you to answer by EMAIL at your earliest convenience please, eg guests’ name & address, contact numbers, how you are travelling to Edinburgh, do you want to use the Leisure Complex, any special requirements you may have, etc.
b) At the same time, you will receive another email which will be our Hiring Agreement. This forms the basis of our contract with you and should be read before paying your deposit. (Our Hiring Agreement is in keeping with general industry standards and as recommended by the Association Of Scotland’s Self-Caterers.)
2) AFTER YOU HAVE PAID YOUR DEPOSIT (or full payment, if booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival):
a) You will receive an email confirming payment has been received. This will advise that you now have a SECURE BOOKING.
b) If you have paid by credit or debit card we will also email you a 'Card Verification' form. This should be returned as soon as possible please to verifiy the charge to your card.
3) AFTER YOU HAVE PAID THE BALANCE OF YOUR ACCOMMODATION CHARGES (6 weeks before arrival):
a) You will receive an email confirming payment has been received. This may include a request for any outstanding details to be provided. You can request a receipted business invoice, if this is required.
4) BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL:
a) You will receive an email, usually within 4-6 weeks of your arrival, with full details of the person who will be welcoming you to Apartment 39 Lothian House.
b) This email will have an ATTACHMENT which contains full details about the apartment, including safety precautions, how to operate equipment etc and matters relating to the common areas of Lothian House Please ensure your travel party are familiar with this document.
c) Please CONFIRM RECEIPT of the above email and attachment, so that we know you have received all the information and that you know whom to contact for your personal welcome, upon your arrival in Edinburgh.
5) LATE BOOKINGS:
a) You will receive all of the above, but in a much shorter time frame, depending upon how close your reservation is. It is possible to complete the booking process within minutes, if necessary for Late Bookings.
