In the heart of Glenshee, this charming and traditional 19^th century cottage with enclosed garden enjoys a peaceful position within the Cairngorms National Park.  Situated just off the A93, Clackavoid is ideally placed for visiting Pitlochry, Royal Deeside, Braemar and Ballater.

The cottage has beautiful views across scenic countryside from every aspect and is approached along a private road clearly marked for easy access.

The property has been tastefully decorated to a high standard to ensure a warm and comfortable holiday home.

The property offers children’s play equipment, barbeque and garden furniture, with a babbling burn passing the side of the garden, where small trout, ducks and herons are regular visitors. Other visitors include red squirrels, two varieties of woodpeckers, pheasants, small wild birds and raptors.

The Cateran Trail passes the property and shooting, stalking, fishing, golf and climbing are all available nearby. Glenshee Ski Centre (the largest in Scotland) offers numerous runs for all levels of skiing.  The ski chairs can take walkers to the summit so they can enjoy an incredible walk back down. There are also mountain bike tracks for those who participate in this sport.

Kirkmichael [8 miles] has a hotel, shop and pub.  Pitlochry [30 minutes drive] offers a large variety of everyday shopping, pubs and restaurants, plus a theatre, brewery and two distilleries.  The Compass Christian Centre [3 miles] offers a large sports hall, a climbing wall, kayaking and archery.
