Highland Museum of Childhood
Located in a restored Victorian Station built in 1885 in the beautiful Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer. The Highland Museum of Childhood has a fantastic collection of toys from the past.

The Tarbat Discovery Centre
Archaeology has revealed a unique early medieval trading settlement, centred on a wealthy 8th-century Pictish community.

Dunrobin Castle 

This fairy tale castle in Golspie has beautiful grounds and gardens and the falconry display is amazing.

Urquhart Castle, sitting on the banks of Loch Ness, is about an hour's drive from Cromarty. 

Culloden Battlefield  and the Highlanders' Museum at Fort George  are each less than an hour's drive.
