The Holiday Flat

We are very sorry, but the flat is not available at all this year (2008).  Please do bear us in mind for next year, though.

Welcome to our cosy self-catering holiday flat overlooking Loch Inchard at Rhiconich, near Kinlochbervie, in the heart of beautiful north-west Sutherland.

The flat forms the right-hand lower floor part of our house, Inchard Cottage (above) and is perfect for a couple.  
 
The accommodation, all at ground-floor level, comprises:
  • Sitting-room/kitchen area overlooking the loch, with LCD TV, DVD player, CD player, internet access point, squishy Tetrad sofa, small dining-table and two chairs, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, oven, hob and microwave
  • Shower-room with WC, WHB and shower
  • Bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobe and internet access point
  • Patio deck overlooking the loch, with table and chairs
  • Drying-shed for fishing/walking gear
  • Parking space.

 

The sitting-room/kitchen features a very fine view over Loch Inchard to the north-west.  From the patio deck, the panorama extends all the way round to the Rhiconich River on the south-west side.  Summer sunsets can be spectacular.

As well as having a great view, the flat is conveniently located beside the Rhiconich Hotel, which offers a full bar service and lunch and dinner menus for whenever self-catering sounds too much like hard work.
