This is the ideal place to get away from it all - whilst keeping all of the creature comforts from home.
We cannot recommend more highly the cottage, which is beautifully appointed, and where Linda has thought of everything.
This is an ideal base from which to tour the island or simply to chill out. We hope to return soon!

If you're looking to get away from it all, you'd be hard placed to find a better location than Kelpie Cottage.

The cottage - the perfect romantic getaway for two - has everything you could possibly need to switch off and unwind. Coming from London, for us it made for a refreshing change to wake up to sheep bleating rather than mobile phones!

We can't recommend this place highly enough and having spent a wonderful week walking, having picnics and watching the stars we left rejuvenated and not a little sad to see our holiday come to an end.

Kelpie Cottage was a great find for us. Having driven from London it seemed like the remote ends of the earth, but with all the comforts of home. Linda's attention to detail kept surprising us - every drawer and cupboard seemed to contain something essential you never knew you needed. Beautiful and spectacular walks and seascapes are all around. It was sometimes very windy during our week but that only added to the drama: we'd never seen waterfalls being blown back up a cliff-face before! We came to Skye hoping to see eagles, and we did, but they popped up in unlikely places, so you need to keep binoculars handy at all times. And after a day out it was always a pleasure to arrive back at the cottage with its beautiful garden nestling in the hillside.

A warm and friendly welcome began a wonderful week at this luxurious cottage in stunningly beautiful surroundings. We look forward to returning to see the basking sharks and eagles which, this time, were hiding in the mist!

This is a magical place! So cozy and comfortable in a stunningly beautiful setting. Linda and Eddie you are an inspiration-we arrived strangers and left friends! This place will draw us back for sure! We fell in love with it at first sight!Thank you so much for an unforgettable week!
