Kelpie Cottage
Thank you Linda, and of course Tess and Cassie, for making our Honeymoon so unforgetable. The cottage is beautiful both inside and out - very welcoming and homely inside and the gardens and views are amazing outside - the website pictures don't do it justice. Linda has really gone beyond equiping out the cottage with just the basics - there is everything you could possibly need and more (even found spare tooth brushes for those who forget theirs). If you enjoy the wildlife you won't be disappointed: You can sit eating breakfast and watching the resident buzzards out of the window. Sit outside and catch a glimpse of a sea eagle, walk to Neist Point and spot a basking shark or a Minkie Whale. On a clear night the sky is just amazing - I've never seen so many stars !. Linda is so helpful. We will definately be back ♥

Our Stay at Kelpie Cottage
We had a wonderful stay at Kelpie Cottage, Linda, Tess and Cassie made us so very welcome, what wonderful hoasts. The cottage was beautiful both inside and outside, we have never stayed in such a comfortable and well equipped place, a real gem. Neist point was amazing, Minke Whales and and the most amazing sunset. Worth going to see the cairn art as well! We Kayaked on Loch Dunvegan around the small islands and had many seal encounters, just brilliant. we will be back, of that there is no doubt.

Kelpie Cottage June 2010
We have been taking cottage holidays for over 20 years and Kelpie Cottage is a real gem. Beautiful, full of character and very comfortable with thoughtful little touches that made our stay special. Stepping outside into the breathtaking Skye landscapes we found true peace and quiet, lovely coastal and moorland walks with wildlife at every turn. Linda made us feel very welcome and we can't wait to return.

On our first visit in August last year, Skye was hidden in the mist, but this time the sun smiled on us and we were able to take in the beautiful sights and views. We still haven't seen those illusive basking sharks and eagles, but enjoyed freshly caught fish from Neist Point, views from behind a waterfall, and silence. We hardly used the car at all, and could have spent ages exploring the beautiful, varied countryside within easy walking distance. Our lasting impression is of a week spent in the absence of that constant hum of traffic, and of neverending daylight - the days seemed to last for ever!

Our recent stay at Kelpie Cottage
Keith and I had a wonderful time we left on Saturday the 15 May 2010 with heavy hearts.

We will miss Linda, the dogs, Cassie and Tess and all the Sheep and Lambs.

We enjoyed exploring the local area with plenty of walks and seeing the local wildlife. We had great weather and it was very refreshing relaxing in the cottage after a long walk.

Linda was very thoughtful and provided additional little extra's that made the stay even nicer. We have stayed in other cottages througout the Highlands, but none included those little touches that made the Holiday experience in this cottage more memorable.
Linda provided good advice on the area of walks, beaches, fishing, eating out.

We will return to the Cottage as we enjoyed our stay so much. For a short time Skye belonged to us.

Thanks Linda for an enjoyable stay and we look forward to seeing you again.
