All set for 2024, Scottish Legislation duly complied with.  We applied for our Short Term Lets Licence (STLL) in September, as required, but unsurprisingly given the vast backlog the Highland Council have not yet issued it.  Shouldn't be a problem as all the safety checks and certificates are in place: gas, electric, fire and energy performance.  Quite an ordeal ....

Everything returning to normal

Happy to report things are opening up nicely on Skye.  Hotels and self-catering are taking guests again and restaurants are open.  Residents undoubtedly have mixed feelings as businesses are keen to trade again but some are nervous about the fragile community on Skye and how they would cope with an increase in Covid19 cases, were that to happen.  Tourists are reminded to be considerate in their actions and choices, to remember to maintain social distancing and use masks.  Reminded to take their litter home and wild camp responsibly we hope to keep the hillsides heavenly and beaches beautiful.  The weather has been amazing so there's never been a better time to visit Skye.
