Welcome to Tir Aluinn Holidays

Tir Aluinn Holidays is a privately owned and run self catering enterprise located in North Erradale near Gairloch in Wester Ross, providing what is arguably some of the finest scenery in the British Isles. As such it is an ideal location for touring or as a quiet retreat from the pressures of modern life.
For those seeking more active pursuits, the area is ideal for walking, cycling, climbing, sailing and pony trekking, whilst the diverse fauna and flora will be of great interest to nature lovers. In North Erradale alone there is a wide variety of bird life to be seen such as goldfinches, redwings, curlews, woodcock, buzzards, and even the odd visit from the mighty sea eagle.
We offer a choice of two high quality detached self catering properties to suit different budgets and requirements. Kenland House is a three bedroom all ensuite detached property comfortably accommodating six people, whilst Tir Aluinn Apartment is a surprisingly spacious one bedroom detached apartment for two adults. We aim to present both properties to exacting standards of cleanliness and as such regret no smoking or pets.
North Erradale is a small and tranquil crofting township on the Wester Ross coastline providing breath taking views across the Minch to the Isle of Skye and the Outer Hebrides as well as panoramic views of the surrounding hills which affords our guests the opportunity of countless walks from the front door. Just a short walk from each property is North Erradales very peaceful and secluded shingle beach where both otters and seals have been sighted.
North Erradale is convieniently situated with the nearest shop only two miles away at Big Sand campsite, where an expansive sandy beach can also be found. The closest restaurant is only four miles away at Melvaig, whilst Gairloch which is a short six mile drive along the stunning Wester Ross coastline has a choice of restaurants and shops as well as a Heritage Museum, golf course, leisure centre, pony trekking centre and harbour where fresh fish and shellfish can be purchased.
Other attractions include the world renowned Inverewe Gardens at Poolewe, the splendour of Loch Maree with it's black throated divers and golden eagles, and the Torridon range of mountains together with the Beinn Eighe nature reserve and visitor centre, all just a short drive away.
