The longhouse is on the Sleat Peninsula, right beside the sea in Camuscross Bay, a short walk from the hamlet of Isle Ornsay (award winning restaurant, pub, shop and whisky tasting centre).
It is 15 miles from the Skye Bridge, and 9 miles south of Broadford, which has the main shops, hotels and restaurants.
Skye can be reached by car over the Skye bridge, or by ferry from Mallaig to Armadale, 8 miles south of the longhouse. Our favourite mode of transport is the Scotrail overnight sleeper to Inverness and thence by train to Kyle of Lochalsh or by car. An alternative route is the sleeper to Fort William and thence by train to Mallaig for the ferry.
