Terms/Conditions- please read the following carefully, your booking with us means that you accept all of the following terms and conditions.The Holiday Contract - The following terms & conditions (the 'booking conditions' Deposits- A non-refundable deposit Balance - The Balance must be paid so as to arrive no later than eight weeks before the commencement of your holiday, unless otherwise agreed. If the balance is not received by the due date then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeit. For security reasons please do not send cash by post. No reminder emails or letters will be issued regarding the balance payment so please ensure that it is paid on time. We are very flexible re payment Damage Deposit - We may take a damage deposit of £500 which can be paid by means of a hold on a credit or debit card. You will be told in advance of your bookng whether we require a security deposit or not. However, in making a booking you accept responsibility for any damage caused by you or any member of your party (including pets) and agree Damage to Property - Please treat the facilities & accommodation Payment Cancellations- Under any cancellations deposits are always forfeit. The balance is due with any cancellation received within 12 weeks of the start Use Of The House - Only those people registered Changes To Your Booking - After you have paid your deposit Arrival & Departure Times - On your day of arrival your accommodation is available from 4.00 p.m. Our cleaners do need time to do their job properly so we ask that you do should not arrive at the house before they have finished. In order for us to prepare for our next guests we do ask that you vacate your accommodation by 11.00 a.m. on your day of departure. We maybe able to give you a late checkout depending on future bookings. This is offered as a courtesy and is at no time guaranteed, if you wish your late check-out to be guaranteed you will be required to pay an additional night. Late Arrivals - Unless we are previously notified, you must claim your accommodation by 8.00am on the day after your holiday was due to start, otherwise your booking will be treated as cancelled. Smoking – Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the house. In the event that the house smells of smoke at the end of your stay you will be asked to pay a minimum £100 cleaning and deodorising fee and will be liable for any further costs and any consequential losses that we may incur if subsequent guests elect not to stay in the house as a result of the smell. Disabled Guests - We are sorry but our house has steps and is not easily accessible by guests who need to use wheelchairs. We are happy to provide as much advice & information as possible to people with disabilities who wish to holiday at our house.Please contact us for more information. Cots & highchairs – A travel cot & highchairs are available at no extra charge. Please enquire at time of booking. If a cot is booked please remember to bring your own cot linen. Children - Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. Dogs & other pets – We do not allow dogs in the house with the exception of guide dogs who are welcome at no additional charge. Dogs are very welcome to stay in the cottages. If you are bringing a registered guide dog to the house we need to know in advance. You also need to agree to check out one hour earlier to enable us to undertake additional cleaning. Electrical Equipment/Appliances - Only the electrical equipment & appliances supplied by us within the accommodation are to be used. For your safety & the safety of others & to prevent a potential fire risk the use of your own electrical equipment & other appliances including HiFis, VCRs or any other electrical equipment & other appliances requiring a mains voltage is not permitted. Right of Entry - We reserve the right to enter accommodation at any time under any circumstances or emergencies. Unreasonable behaviour - We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking or their guests may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of present or future guests at BONNYSIDE HOUSE. Availability of facilities - In some circumstances accommodation, entertainment or a facility may be temporarily withdrawn due to maintenance, renovation, adverse weather conditions, breakages or any other factor outside our control. We reserve the right to make such alterations as are necessary in the above circumstances without prior notice, & are unable to pay compensation for any inconvenience caused. .Please make sure that you carefully read the instructions in the what you need to know section! Brochure Accuracy - We shall use our best endeavours to ensure the availability of all amenities advertised in the brochure, web site or elsewhere. We update our accomodation on a continual basis and the photographs may not accurately reflect rooms or facilitries due to such updating. Naturally we expend money updating facilities to make the accomodation more appealing to our customers however if there is a particular facility, service or room design that your booking depends on please confirm its availability before booking. Data Protection Policy Statement - We will hold information provided by you to us in connection with your booking(s). It will be used in connection with your booking & for informing about the house. If you are on our mailing list & do not wish to receive any future news then please let us know by email. Special Offers- Special offers can only be honoured if mentioned at the time of booking. Limitation of Liability - We accept responsibility for those arrangements of your holiday which are within our control, but we cannot accept liability for any injury, loss or damage, consequential or otherwise suffered by you or any other member of your party, unless there was willful default by us, our employees or agents, or unless death or personal injury was caused by our negligence. Complaints -We are here to help and it is our responsibilty to ensure that the property is maintained to a good standard. If you feel that you have complaints whilst staying with us, you should contact us during your stay so that we can try to resolve any problems as soon as possible. If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfation during your stay then you may write to our third party administrators providng full details of any unresolved issues. We will provide these details on request. Please be aware that we will not process requests for refunds when we have not been made aware of and been allowed to redress issues during your stay. If the house becomes available during or before your stay due to a catestrophic event within or outwith our control or due to a double booking then our liability shall be limited to monies already paid which we will refund immediately. We of course do everything in our power to avoid cancelling guest bookings however if you are booking for a special occasion we strongly recommend that you take out insurance against such an occurance. Variation - We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.
