The Cottage and Garden

Clauchan Cottage is a detached Galloway cottage, on one level, half way between Gatehouse of Fleet and Newton Stewart, in an elevated position 2 miles from Creetown.

This cosy cottage is ideal for couples wanting a relaxing, holiday surrounded by Scottish countryside with fantastic views across Wigtown Bay to Garlieston and Wigtown. There is a pretty garden to the front and side of the cottage, with patio furniture .  Steps lead up from the patio to a higher seating area giving an even better view of the bay - ideal for watching the sun set!

The Lounge

The comfortable, cosy lounge is nicely furnished, with gas central  heating and gas fire. Colour TV/dvd/cd player with freeview, radio, table with boardgames, books, dvds and cds. The window overlooks the front garden and bay view.

The Kitchen/Diner

The kitchen is very well equipped, with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron. Dining area with dining table and chairs. There are 2 windows, overlooking the garden and bay.

The Bedroom  

Large double bed, with dressing table, chest of drawers, bedside tables and large wardrobe. Hair dryer and electric shaver adaptor plug.
