Hi - what a wonderful week we have had. Prob the best week generally out of 10 or so visits to the island. Just what we needed, so relaxing and surprisingly lovely weather for almost all week - lots of eagle sightings,, some of which were just flying over the bay, apparently a couple had been in and around isle ornsay for a few weeks so I wasn’t seeing things!!
April seems to be the month as so many wild flowers and wildlife spots.
Lovely cottage, well equipped and fab views.
You now have a newly named island in front (hope you don’t mind) Gabes island - hours of fun and only wet feet once as the tide took us by surprise.
We’ll def be back as soon as poss for more Skye therapy.
Thankyou for allowing us to share your special home.

Stay No.3
Hi Pam. So remiss of us not to leave a note before now, especially after three visits. All of our stays in your cottage have been exceptional. Skye is such a wonderful example of what Scotland has to offer anyone who is looking for either extreme adventure or total relaxation or anything in between. We have stayed in many different accommodations on Skye over the years but Cruard Cottage is for sure a jewel in the crown.
We look forward to many more revisits.

Lovely stay on Skye
26-1/6/12 A comfy charming cottage surrounded by the beauty of Skye. Each window frames it's own picture of the sky, mountains and bay outside. The children loved the beach and having their own island. We saw lots of new birds this last week. The Oyster catchers in the bay are lovely and the local ducks come right up to the kitchen door.

What a week...Thanks
We arrived in brilliant sunshine with the views taking our breath away, inside the cottage everything was perfect, warm and cosy and again the views from the kitchen and bedromms was stunning. For the rest of the week we had every type of weather you could imagine, through it all the beauty of the area and the cosy welcome of Cruard Cottage just kept us smiling. We even saw our first wild otter during the week at kylerhea. Oh and a submarine that decided to park off the coast. there aren't many places we'd come back to but Cruard is certainly one of them. Thanks Guys

When you arrive at Cruard Cottage you know that you are going to have an amazing holiday. The cottage is stunning as are the views. We saw oyster catchers, herons and numerous other sea birds on a daily basis and caught a glimpse of a seal and an eagle. There are lovely walks along the shore and down the lane to the local hotel for lunch or supper.
We would definitely pay a return visit to Cruard.
Thank you Pam & Elaine for sharing your lovely cottage
