How to find us

If you are coming by car, once you get into Oban, follow the signs for the ferry terminal. Gallanach Road is the road leading past the ferry terminal so drive on round the corner for a minute and you will find a residential quieter area - and the summerhouse is on the left. Free parking is usually available just outside.

If you are coming by train or bus, this is a very easy journey! The ferry terminal is very close so walk along by the sea in a southerly direction and continue on past the ferry terminal - and turn first right onto Gallanach Road. After two minutes walking you will see the summerhouse on the left. 

For walkers, the summit of Pulpit Hill is about a 20 minute walk behind the summerhouse, and a walk or cycle on the road South takes one to the boat to the island of Kerrera, where a day can be spent walking or cycling. The many bays, inlets and islands off the coast around the Oban area make it a haven for sea kayaking www.seakayakoban.co.uk.
