The Summerhouse has been described as having a 'rustic charm'. The interior fabric consists of Edwardian tiled floors and tongue and goove wall panelling. It is heated according to the climate with central heating radiators in each room. Domestic Water is heated by a seperate control switch within the premises.

The twelve steps leading up to the summerhouse allow its elevated position overlooking Oban Bay.

Free parking is usually available on the road just outside.
