By the sea, it is possible to see otters, seals, dolphins, porpoises, killer whales and basking sharks. 

On land, there are foxes and badgers as well as other smaller mammals, and it is quite common to see red deer by the roadside or even in the garden, especially during the winter months.

Otters can sometimes be seen from the flat's sitting-room window, playing on the fringes of Loch Inchard.  We always keep the binoculars on the window-sill, just in case!
