Accommodation in Cluich

This very cosy and traditional house is suitable for up to five adults.

Downstairs, there's a cosy sitting room with an open fire - coal and kindling is provided - which is wooden-lined in the traditional style.  For nights in, there's a tv, video and dvd player as well as a CD/tape/radio music centre. It has comfortable furnishings, some books and games as well to entertain.  The sitting room and dining room have views out on to the loch. 

A separate dining room is next to the kitchen which is at the rear of the house.  The dining room sits five comfortably and has an electric stove-effect heater set within a traditional brick fireplace.

The fully equipped kitchen is compact but has everything you need including a full-size electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, breadmaker and all the utensils and crockery you are likely to need. It also has an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer.

The back porch is a good place for drying wet gear and is where the kindling etc is stored.

There's also a spacious bathroom downstairs, with a good sized bath ideal for soaking away any aches from the day, It also has an electric shower.

Upstairs, there's three bedrooms.  The double room has plenty of storage space and, like the other two rooms, looks out onto the loch.  There is space for a portable cot in this room and we have one if needed.

The twin room is  comfortably furnished with pine beds, wardrobe and dressing table. 

There is a small single room, with a chest of drawers and bedside table.  All the bedrooms are wooden-lined in the traditional style.

We ask that you don't smoke in the house.

Facilities include:

A secure, enclosed garden which looks on to the shore and the loch beyond, ideal for sitting relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the wildlife going by. Garden furniture including a table and four chairs.  There is a drying line at the rear of the house. You'll see the lovely views from the garden on the Cluich views page.

Ample parking beside the house.

All electricity is included in the rental.  Coal and kindling is provided for the fire.

 

Heating: Night storage and other heaters as well as an open fire in the sitting room. 

Bed linen and towels are provided.  A change of linen is provided for two week or longer stays.

Sorry, but we're unable to accept pets in the house.
