We made the mostof the easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches, scenery and wildlife. We also enjoyed playing golf at the world famous Machrihanish golf club and other great local courses at Dunavety and Machrihanish dunes.
To top it all though, it is hard to beat the experience of sitting in your conservatory each evening after a day in the fresh air and watching the sun set over Islay and Jura. Truly magnificent.
We have been visiting the area for several years and have now found a fantastic base for our visits at 133 sound of kintyre. We will hopefully be booking up for many years to come"
Andrina "We spent a most enjoyable week in August, at 133 sound of kintyre. The house is fully equipped, with very clear instructions on how things work, and very comfortable.
We were lucky in having good weather and so could enjoy the garden but the lovely conservatory allows you to enjoy the great view no matter what the weather is doing outside - and as it faces directly west the sunsets are fabulous.
Just a short walk takes you to a stunning beach-quiet even in the height of summer-and the Machrihanish Dunes golf Course. We enjoyed our time so much that we immediately booked for next year!"
