A ferry from Troon to Campbeltown has started (summer 2013 ) over the summer and for 3 days per week.
Machrihanish Dunes golf club have now opened their newly renovated Hotel in Machrihanish and also have their new hotel and seafood restaurant in Campbeltown . This is a marvellous extra to the many choices of places to eat in campbeltown.
